When should I use erminder? (Privacy Policy)

erminder is a great way to store notes of many types. Here are some examples of what we expect people to add notes for:

While the uses for erminder are really unlimited, we do want to offer some guidance for when not to use erminder. While it may be tempting, please don't use erminder to store:

With that said, we do respect your privacy and the notes you store will be kept a secret between you and erminder. But erminder's administrators, engineers, and support team will have access to the notes you store, and they will be stored in plain text in our systems. We will occasionally review notes stored in the system to understand how our users are benefiting from erminder, and how the service might be improved. You should assume that every note you store in erminder will be seen by our staff, but we will not share your notes with anyone else, except perhaps in aggregate and in an anonymous manner.

We may revise this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will gorvern our use of your information and will always be at http://www.erminder.com/Help/Privacy. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, the change will be explained on our blog. By continuing to access or use erminder after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised privacy policy.

This privacy policy is effective 9/19/2011.
